Scholarship Awards

2023 Scholarship Recipients 

The Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of AKA in Partnership with the Pasadena/Altadena Ivy Foundation awarded 12 Scholarships and Book Awards to graduating college bound students.  The Scholarships were awarded in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) and Social Justice. 

The accomplishments of all of these young people are amazing.  As they strike out into the world, the future is in great hands.  The Pasadena Chapter of AKA in partnership with PAIF is honored to help them on their journey by awarding these Scholarships.

The organizations awarded over $22,000.00 in Scholarships.   The Regenia Payne Moses multi-year scholarship award of $5000 went to Nyla Cross from Polytechnic High School.   When all is said and done the Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of AKA in partnership with PAIF will have awarded over $620,000 in Scholarships since being chartered in 1960.   The organizations continue to have a goal of increasing the award amounts and look forward to assistance in achieving that goal.
