The Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was chartered in 1960 and has had a history of service to the community since its inception. The Pasadena/Altadena Ivy Foundation was founded in 2014 to partner with the chapter to make a more significant impact in the community through increased fundraising opportunities as a 501(c)3.
The programs of both organizations focus on improving the community, providing educational opportunities and delivering services within the community that benefit people of all ages and ethnicities.
