Saving Our Young Black Men & Women – Training Our Future

September 12, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The 2nd Annual Saving Our Young Black Men & Women (SOYBMW) Job Skills Training Program that will take place on Tuesday evenings from 9/12 - 10/24 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Pasadena City College - Northwest Campus (Bldg D at John Muir).  This program targets ages 16-25 and will focus on providing skillsets needed to help our young men & women successfully find, get and retain jobs.  We will help them develop job winning applications and resumes, train them on interviewing skills, do mock interviews with them and more.   Like the inaugural program, we will certify the participants to have access to a database of 600 jobs via the LA Chamber of Commerce, we'll provide each participant with a FREE Suit and connect them with hiring employers.  The curriculum for the program is attached.

We have received positive feedback from students that completed this program last year and are using these skills to help them successfully find jobs and move forward..  The registration link for this FREE program is below:

I can be reached on 626.475.7710 with any questions.
