Asm Chris Holden Block Party – Backpack Giveaway Drive

Assemblymember Chris Holden is sponsoring the 19th Annual Block Party on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11 AM - 3 PM in the 500 Block of Jackson Street in Pasadena. This fun filled event shares information with the community on resources while they have fun.
The Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in partnership with the Pasadena/Altadena Ivy Foundation support the event by giving away backpacks filled with school supplies. This program helps to make sure underserved children in our community start the year with all of the supplies they need to be successful.
Our goal is to have 200 backpacks filled with school supplies. We are asking you to support this endeavor by making a donation today.
