5th Annual Career STEAMposium

The 5th Annual Career STEAMposium will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 8 AM – 1:30 PM at Pasadena City College located at 1570 E Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, CA. This event focuses on exposing Middle School, High School and Community College students to Professionals with careers in STEAM. We accomplish this objective through Workshops, Hands-On Activities and Networking. This FREE event has received rave reviews, and we want your group to attend to take advantage of this opportunity to network with STEAM professionals from Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
We will be providing SWAG bags, breakfast and lunch. For this reason, we do ask students to register. Please see the flyer on the event and workshop descriptions. Our keynote speaker this year will be Phyllis Currie who is the retired CEO of the Pasadena Department of Water and Power. She will be speaking on Keeping the Lights On with Technology – Why STEAM Matters.
Hands-On Activities will include Robotics, Formula SAE, Liquid Rocket Club, Virtual Reality, Solar Cup, BioSense Medical and more.
